Stephen John Owen tends to use a limited pallet for each of his paintings, selecting colour based on his own mood and the emotion he wants to convey behind the work. With his ability to narrow down pallet, select, outline and simplify shape, Owen highlights and creates space for the viewer to see the true allurement of the places he paints and loves.
